Tonight's Elite League Play Off Semi-Final meeting against Lakeside has been postponed due to a waterlogged track.

The meeting will be restaged on Wednesday 28th September at 7-30pm.

All of tonight's tickets will be valid at the turnstiles on Wednesday.

The Belle Vue Aces will take an 8-point lead into Leg 2 of their Play Off Semi-Final with Lakeside on Monday when the two clubs meet at the National Speedway Stadium for the final time this year.

The loss of Andreas Jonsson with just weeks to go before the Play Offs came as a monstrous blow to the Vortex Hammers who have painfully teetered on the edge of top-four qualification for a while.

Colts Fired Up Over Heathens Win

Though their Play Off ambitions have now been relinquished, the Belle Vue Colts took great delight in their 50-40 win over Cradley on Friday night, beating them in their belated Easter Monday clash.

Despite being the underdogs, the Cool Running boys relished the opportunity to strike at the heart of their title-chasing rivals and all but dominated their evening even though they were under power.

Zagar 'Pushing' For EL Gold

Matej Zagar has described his determination to help see the Rentruck Aces through to the 2016 Elite League Grand Final after they bounced back to take control of their Semi-Final clash with Lakeside.

The 33-year old has been struggling to find the form he’s so fabled for just recently, but proved he’s on the right track on Wednesday night despite a less-than-desirable last place to start to his evening.

Grand Final Beckons To Dominant Aces

The Belle Vue Aces will take an 8-point lead into the second leg of their Play Off Semi-Final against  Lakeside on Monday after claiming a 41-49 victory at the Arena Essex Raceway on Wednesday.

A slow start for the Mancunians saw them playing catch up immediately the tapes went up as the home guard duo of Lewis Bridger and Kim Nilsson delivered a first heat 5-1 to settle their nerves.

Belle Vue Look To Fans To Decorate The NSS

Barring an unmitigated disaster, the Belle Vue Aces are heading into the end of season play offs for the second year running. The important difference this year is the fact that it will be the first time inside of their new state of the art home at the National Speedway Stadium.

The clubs bosses however feel that there is a key element missing in the push for potential silverware this year and are looking to their fan base for help.
