Aces Feel the Sting

Belle Vue’s frustrating start to the season was dealt yet another disappointing blow last night when they suffered a hefty 39-51 defeat at home to the Coventry Bees.

The hosts were forced into a late team change on Sunday evening when news filtered through that Simon Stead had suffered a fractured arm and femur following a crash at Rye House on Saturday.

Belle Vue have been forced into a late team change for tomorrow's clash against Coventry.

Following a serious injury yesterday at Rye House, Simon Stead is unable to take his place at No.5.

The Rentruck Aces have called on the services of Josh Grajczonek to cover for their injured heat leader.

Simon Stead Injury Update

The Sheffield  Tigers have regrettably confirmed that Belle Vue heat leader Simon Stead has been diagnosed with a broken upper arm and a broken femur following his horrific crash at Rye House last night.

The Belle Vue Management wish him the very best for a speedy recovery.

Zagar Declared Grand Prix Winner

Matej Zagar has been declared the winner of tonight's FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland.

Zagar was leading the Grand Prix when it was abandoned after heat 12 on safety grounds, the result will stand with Matej the winner with 8pts.
