Belle Vue bounced back in style from their Norfolk heartbreak to claim a stupendous 52-37 victory over the Lakeside Hammers, despite significant resistance from the visitors in the early stages.

Inclement weather around Greater Manchester in the days leading up to the meeting almost resulted in yet another postponement, but for the sterling efforts of the club's track staff.

Third Time Lucky - Belle Vue v Lakeside Preview

Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon says it’ll be an “all or nothing” offensive for for his squad as they prepare to kick off a busy August with a visit from the Lakeside Hammers on Wednesday night.

The Rentruck Aces have just seven home fixtures, as well as two away meetings, in which to ensure they secure enough points to keep them in contention for the 2015 Elite League title.

A three-time British Champion, the former Aces captain is a firm favourite amongst fans nationwide particularly in his native Coventry; where he’s remained an almost permanent fixture for a decade.
