Starke to cover for Drozdz

The Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces have been forced into making an early team change less than a week into the Premiership season following injury to their Polish newcomer Damian Dróżdż.

After getting off to a promising start in his first meeting as an Ace, he was involved in a nasty crash in his second ride at Swindon last Thursday where he suffered an injury to his left shoulder.

The club has wasted no time securing the services of Glasgow’s Paul Starke, who has temporarily committed himself to the club following confirmation that Dróżdż will not be fit enough to take his place in the team for Easter Monday.

Starke, who has no permanent top flight birth as of yet in 2018, comes into the side on a minimum 28-day contract and will make his first Belle Vue appearance on Easter Monday April 2nd at 12pm.
